This is a long poem which depicts emotions of a refugee father during his journey in search of Home. Father speak with his innocent son and and tells him the stories of his boyhood that how he and his uncle had enjoyed their childhood and feels sorry for him and his family which only observe skies spitting bombs, starvation and Burials.

Poem moves very fast, take refugees to sea which is ready to drown them alive. When Father is helpless he says to his son "all I can do is pray." These lines are most powerful lines in the poem.

Writer was inspired by the story of Alan Kurdi the three year old Syrian refugee who drowned in sea trying to reach home safely in Europe in September 2015.
Book is dedicated to the thousands of refugees who have perished at sea feeling war and persecution.

Although book is not as good as I was expecting but book made me think about refugees and their starving lives.
